Refund policy
Returns — your right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or someone you name) receive the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, tell us by a clear statement — email hi@seathrou.com with your order number. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but it is not required; we will provide it on request. We will confirm the return address by email.
Once you have told us, ship the items back within 14 days.
Condition of returned items
You may inspect an item the way you would in a store — trying it on is fine. Items should come back unworn, unwashed and with all original tags attached. If an item comes back diminished in value through handling beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning — signs of wear, washing, damage or missing tags — we may deduct that loss of value from your refund.
Swimwear and bodysuits are delivered with a hygiene liner in place. For hygiene reasons, they cannot be returned once the liner has been removed.
Return shipping
Return shipping is at your own cost. Please use a tracked courier service; the items remain your responsibility until they reach us, so we recommend a service that insures the value of the goods. If you return an order from outside the European Union, any customs charges, duties or taxes are borne by you.
Refunds
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice; we may withhold the refund until we have received the items back, or until you provide proof of having shipped them, whichever comes first. The refund covers the price of the items and the standard outbound delivery cost (if you chose a delivery option more expensive than our standard one, we refund the standard rate). It is issued to your original payment method; depending on your payment provider, it may take up to 10 business days to appear on your account.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or product, return the original item and place a new order.
Exceptions
The following cannot be returned, unless defective: made-to-order or personalised items; swimwear and bodysuits with the hygiene liner removed; gift cards.
Damaged or incorrect items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, email us within 48 hours of delivery at hi@seathrou.com with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order before it ships, email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to intercept it. Once an order has shipped, the return process above applies.
